Dr. Donald Patton - Minister of OC Church
The Very Rev Dr W. Donald Patton came to the OC from Lowe Memorial, Finaghy, Belfast, in September 2002. He is married to Florence. They have a grown-up family of four - two daughters and two sons - and, to date, three grandchildren. Florence is involved with the music in the church and the PW. Dr Patton is also a part-time chaplain in the Antrim Area Hospital. He describes himself as a warm-hearted evangelical, eager to share the good news of Jesus Christ, Saviour and Lord, and to teach the Christian way of life to his people. He was elected as Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland in February 2008 and served as such from June 2008 to June 2009.
Mr. Jonny Porter - Youth and Children's Worker at OC Church
Jonny has been involved with youth work for the past 8 years. He came to work for the O.C. Church as our Youth and Children's co-ordinator in 2009. Before that he had studied theology and worked for Drogheda Presbteryian Church as their youth intern. He desires to help young people learn more about God so that they can become committed followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. When not involved in youth work I enjoy spending time playing sport, watching movies and meeting up with friends and family for food and chat.
